Girlfriends Day

Image
So, we've been planning this trip since the last time we met and we're so glad that we actually made it!! All four of us had an awesome shopping spree in KL for a straight 12-hour period, of which 5 hours were spent in the train. =3= But still, it was AWESOME!!! The train was delayed for about 40 minutes due to some 'technical problems' at the KL station. We stopped in the middle of nowhere with only green grass in view and the KL tower outside the window. 40 freaking minutes without moving at all. Texted my dad and he texted back "well, you are in bolehland after all." Hahaha xD Anyway we finally reached KL Sentral after what seemed like forever. I'd already watched the movie the train was showing twice. Poor Wai Yan waited since 9.25am. And we reached close to 10am. Awesome. :/ So after that we just took the LRT straight to Berjaya Times Square to start shopping. Until around 4pm. I'd already spent about RM65 there. Then we proceeded to H...

Surprise Party!

Image
I should have blogged about this a long time ago. Like, last week. Hahaha. But then, it's better late than never ever ever right? So we threw a surprise birthday party for bestie Wai Yan last Sunday. She thought it was just a normal long-time-no-see-each-other-since-we-left-high-school gathering 'slash' dinner. And we really played it quite well; she never suspected a thing until towards the end, when we started talking loudly about desserts and winking at each other. xD Outfit for the day. :) Sorry for the blur pics. For some reason my camera decided to blur itself for the night. :/ Cranberry Mocktail at Berlin's. Not bad, just kinda tasteless. Too much ice, I presume. Fooooooodd!!! I LOVED THEIR CARBONARA!!! That's like the bestest pasta I've ever tasted. Hehehe :D And of course, not to forget a group photo. Stole this photo from FB. IKR. Hahahaha. There's Wai Yan and her rainbow cake, made by Wei and Krys... :) ❤ ❤ ❤ ...

Waiting for the Apple

Image
"Wait," they kept telling me. "Be patient. God has everything under control; everything will fall into place eventually, in His time. Don't rush." Hi. Let me introduce myself. I'm a nineteen-year-old teenager who simply adores shopping and designing. I love food and I have the tummy to prove it. But all these are irrelevant to what I'm about to say here. Did I forget to introduce myself? Let's just call myself En. That's my nickname. :)   Allow me to give you some background info. See, the place where I was brought up, I was taught that I should always wait for God's perfect timing in everything that I do. In other words, it's like Que Cera Cera. Whatever will be, will be. So I always have to wait for someone or something to happen, but I shouldn't initiate the happenings myself. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Philippia...

Bloody rats

Image
So, my worst nightmare came true today. RATS DISSECTION. I have said many times before that I hate the sight of blood coz I get giddy and over-sensitive every time I see or hear anything gruesome. Or gory. But it was time to face everything today... It was a DO or DIE... x.x I couldn't stop hugging my books and stationery in the lab. I refused to put them down anywhere because I suddenly contracted a case of 'bio-lab-ophobia'. Then the teacher went through the procedures orally and then demonstrated the dissection on a rat. I ran out of the lab and teared for a while. Eeeeek!! After demonstrating, she saw me standing outside the lab. She knew I had haemophobia so she told me to get something from the office. I happily went and returned as slow as possible. But when I came back everyone had barely started on their rats. I stood at the door and refused to go in but she insisted I stand at most only 1 meter away from the rats. :( So in I went, wincing at every table. Poo...

Walking Dead

Image
Dead tired. For the past week, my average sleeping hours were about 4 or 5 everyday. Hence resulting in my irritability and sleepiness in class, not to mention the migraine headaches I get everyday. So if I've somehow or other offended anyone last week, I apologize sincerely. Can't promise it won't happen again though. Sighs. I have no idea what in the world am I going to do when my class dissects 26 mice this coming Friday. I hate the sight of blood. I hate mice. I hate dead things. I hate touching carcasses. And I hate stinky stuff. I'm so gonna die on Friday.   Me wants a hug... :( Trials are coming up in two weeks' time. I'm scared. It's not like I've never sat for major exams before, it's just that the teachers have not even finished their syllabus yet, and there we are panicking for the exams which is just around the corner. It's not fair. Especially for people like me who don't go for tuition and rely heavily on school teach...

Motivated to do Nothing

Image
And I've wasted another day of study again. Grr... I have been slacking off for the whole of Term 2. One word sums up everything -- LAZY. I've been highly motivated to do absolutely nothing at any particular given time at all... Even after telling myself I really should grow up and start focusing on my studies right now... But... but... but... My results have always been mediocre, mostly a mix of A's and B's but ending up in the last half placings in class. Mom always tells me how much better I'd do if only I'd put in at least a bit of hardwork into my studies... Nahh. I'm still wasting my time away. No amount of motivating can budge me. I'mma just gonna rot away to pieces this term break... Bluek... ;P

Warm and Fuzzy

So. Lots of things happened this last week. First things first, my first semester results came out, and I got 1A3B. Not very satisfactory, so I'm gonna retake the B- paper -- BIOLOGY!! Can't believe I freaked out during Bio. Sighs. So now I'm going to sit for it again sometime later this year. Things were bliss for me the rest of the week (except that Bio sting) especially during Wednesday. I'm not going into details there, but I can say it's been one of the happiest days of 2013 for me... yet... ;) Made Easter egg orders that day (120++ of them!!), got home really late that night and got scared of eggs for 24 hours before consuming them again for breakfast, lunch and dinner again the next day. Hahaha. But then the supposed-to-be hard-boiled eggs turned out to be half-boiled eggs where one of them exploded in the face of the recipient... BWAHAHAHA!!!! No, seriously, we didn't mean it to be like that... xD Wednesday was ultra bliss, Thursday no le...

Strawberry ❤ Story

Image
They say absence makes the heart grow fonder. And in my case, it has been totally true... I don't deny that I've been so obsessed with it over the CNY holidays, probably just because we weren't able to see each other. I've missed it so much throughout the 9 days of holiday... It was like torture to me... But now that school's reopened for almost 2 weeks now, entering the third week, I think my obsession is cured... Kinda, sorta, well yeah. I don't know. It's actually really hard for me to describe it... How should I put it? It's like, I'm not totally obsessed over it anymore, but I'll occasionally think of it, or sneak a peek or two once in a while... Hahaha... Instead of being overly-worried and coming up with lots and lots of nasty assumptions... No more of that now... I think... xD Well I'll pretty much let you do the guessing and imagining. Because I've run out of words to say. ❤ ❤ But I really, really want someth...
